I am looking for sturdy and safe desks or table-chair sets for my 2 year old daughter. The wooden ones which I like are very costly (more than $ 100). The plastic ones are either not very good or again costly. Do you know any stores where I can buy good stuff? I really like what I see in the kids section in public libraries. The colorful wooden tables and chairs with pictures of characters. Are they ever on sale? Is there any place I can check that? Thanks for any suggestions.

Answer by lillilou I really like my Ikea one. Its a thicker plastic then most of the assembly stuff. I have the Mammut.
Land of Nod, PB kids, Company Store Kids, has a lot of this wooden stuff too, even Target. All those websites would also have sale and clearance sections.
