Question by Gertie Packbiers: High chair table with seat in middle and four legs like table?
what happened to this really nice safe option? I had one for my kids and the beauty was they couldn’t tump it over if they tried to crawl in by themselves and it was really easy to clean. It was like someone cut a hole in a very sturdy wooden play table and inserted the seat portion with safety straps in the middle. I _think_ it was made by a better company and was their only high chair option. given the way the legs on newer high chairs splay out, I doubt very much they take any less room. The legs also folded up though with some difficulty obviously to make it safer / less likely it could happen by accident or mistake. I would dearly love to buy one for my grandson, wish I hadn’t sold mine in a garage sale. I have googled a lot and always get those that look so very very unsafe as strap on table. Thanks for any info!

Question by Ashley: On cruises, can you tell them your preference, like what kind of table mates you want to sit with at dinner?
Me (17) my mom, and my sister(15) are going on a cruise saturday, a disney magic 7 day one, and we dont want to be at a table with little kids in high chairs haha, not that we have anything against cute little kiddies but we were wondering if we could like ask to be at a table with other teens, (maybe like other 17 year old cute boys ) haha just kidding, but really is there a way you can ask about that?

Answer by sally b Not really. There are far too many passengers for that. It’s only a meal. There will be plenty of other opportunities to meet people your own age. It is also very unlikely that you would be seated with high chair kids. They try to make the tables pleasant for everyone.
Josh and Kelsie utilize their broom techniques to attempt to gain victory against each other. Or something like that. Brief appearances made by: Nikko and Jerrad!
Question by Rae: How do I build a dining table that mounts to the wall like a shelf?
I’m moving into a small apartment and there is no room for a dining table and four chairs. I have a low window in my kitchen and I want to mount a wide shelf under it for my kids and I to eat at. It has to be sturdy, I have two rowdy little girls. I would also like to make it so it folds down when I’m not using it. Does anyone know how to do this?

Answer by gold digger This is what they did in Ireland in 19th century. You screw a wooden batten to the wall and attach two hinges to it and then you can fix your table top to this. So that it has support you have to fix another hinge under the table top with a leg that drops down . There has to be a very good catch for when the table is an upright position. WARNING these tables are not very child friendly when stored in the upright position ,they can drop down and trap fingers between the hinge and support leg.

Answer by Manish P Yes. You can file compalint with Better Business Bureau (BBB). Visit their site and then you can put in business name and other details about what happened.
They will try to ‘mediate’. However, they can not force business to make any type of monetory / non-monetory reimbursement to you. In the worst case scenario, if business doesn’t respond, BBB will flag the business as ‘bad’ … but thats it.
If you really think you have case, you can file complaint in ‘small claims court’ of appropriate county (I think it is King’s county). This is where actual lawyers and judges sit and hear the case and try to come up with fair settlement.
