I had the perfect table in mind for my twin kiddos of 2 years. One with storage, 2 chairs, one with a lip around the edge to keep toys from rolling off, and most of all, one made out of wood. WOOD, and this one has it all. I find it painful wading through all the chunks of plastic made for kids now that go ding, squeak, buzz and dyed in glaring primary colors. What happened to good ol’ wood in natural colors that allowed kids to project their imagination, not get beat over the head with Disney characters & a mayhem-o-stimulation?
Anyway, the table. Yes, its nice. Its all wood and solid. Easy enough construction, awesome toy storage on wheels that slides into an underneath compartment, and the lip… my kids color, roll balls, and push cars without anything falling to the floor. So, a nice table. It looks, feels and behaves exactly like something you might buy from Ikea. So if youre okay w/ Ikea – great table. I DO take issue with the false image-advertising. The table has no cushions (as pictured), the table has no nice design on the surface (as pictured), the table has no white, clean table-top (as pictured). Manufacture needs to change that image.

We ordered this for our toy room and love the way it looks, but it’s already started breaking after less than 1 month of ownership. It arrived with one corner slightly damaged, which was OK and probably due to shipping. But now some of the other corners have the veneer peeling off the underlying wood, creating sharp edges that scratch. For $200 I expected a piece of furniture that would stay together for at least a couple years. Also, the corners are nailed together, not glued, which leaves little gaps in the corners of the part of the table that sticks up to keep stuff from falling off.

We got this for our toddler grandson, who is 15 months old. He really likes sitting at it and playing with cars and other toys on the table. With the raised edge all the way around, stuff doesn’t roll off and get away from him. Grandma says it is not too uncomfortable for an adult to sit at for a while. Very sturdy and easy to assemble.
